Himala!

The momentum seems to be dying down unless something drastic happens.

The tapes have been played. Susan Roces has spoken. Various sectors have given their stands regarding the Hello Garci issue. The expected outrage from the people has not materialized.

Now, the administration is taking the offensive. Floating the idea that oppositon leaders had also spoken to Garci. Garci, in a press statement, has acknowledged speaking with GMA but also with some opposition personalities, namely, Sen. Legarda and Cong. Escudero. Chairman Abalos has revealed he spoke to Sen. Madrigal. Enrile and Jinggoy Estrada.

Now, the opposition's offense has stalled and they have been forced to parry the attacks of the administration.

GMA has regained much-needed breathing space.

What will come next?

The statement the CBCP will release, hopefully this weekened, will either make or break GMA. Where the CBCP will go I strongly feel Cory will follow. Cory can bring in the middle class.

May the statement be acceptable to the majority and may it address the issue of morality because the military is getting to be impatient.

I just hope and pray that whatever statement that may be will be a result of Divine inspiration.
