Hapinoy is Smart

After more than a year of preparation and 10 pilot stores in Sto. Tomas, Batangas, The Hapinoy Store (Ang Tindahan ng Haping Pinoy) is finally taking-off. With fingers crossed, our company, Microventures, is hoping that this effort will help alleviate poverty as we empower "nanays" , through one of the largest microfinance institutions in the country, CARD-MRI, to assist in making the future brighter for their families. Smart Telecom has committed to be our partner as we begin this journey. Manufacturing companies have already started delivering their goods to our lead stores at a discount. More companies and micro-finance institutions have expressed interest in joining us. We hope this will be the beginning of something big, not only for us, but more importantly, for the millions of Filipinos experiencing poverty today. May all of the Filipinos be Hapinoys, Hapi Pinoys!
